Windows app virtualization

One app. One EXE. Nothing on disk.

ExeWrap virtualizes a Windows application — its DLLs and data files — into a single self-contained executable that runs entirely from memory. Nothing is ever unpacked to disk. Win32 & Win64, any native compiler.

In-memory virtualization

Everything your app needs — inside one executable

ExeWrap maps your app and its dependencies straight into memory and serves its data from a virtual file system. No installer, no scattered files, no temp extraction.

One self-contained EXE

Your app, every DLL it imports and its data files are packed into a single output executable. ExeWrap auto-detects the co-located dependency closure — no manifest to maintain.

True in-memory loading

A reflective PE loader maps every bundled module straight into memory — relocations, imports, TLS, x64 SEH unwind and all. The payload never touches disk, not even %TEMP%.

Virtual files & registry

Bundled config, assets and databases are served from a virtual file system: open, read, enumerate, memory-map — even copy-on-write writes, kept in RAM or persisted to an encrypted cache. Registry keys can be bundled the same way — enough for an in-process COM server to activate on a machine where nothing was installed.

Encrypted by default

Every box is AES-256 encrypted out of the box — the payload and the file directory, so names, sizes and contents are all hidden, never a plain zip. Password-protect it (PBKDF2, key never stored) when it should run only for someone with the secret.

Signed updates & patches

Ship a small signed .xupd patch beside the box to override bundled files without rebuilding. RSA signatures keep forged or tampered patches out.

Win32, Win64, any compiler

ExeWrap is a PE loader, not a language runtime. C, C++, Rust, Go, Delphi — any native Windows executable boxes the same way, in-process COM servers included. (.NET / CLR and out-of-process COM are out of scope.)

How it works

Three steps to a single-file build

1
Point at your .exe

Drop your compiled Windows app onto ExeWrap or pass it on the command line. The import closure beside it is detected automatically.

2
Bundle & protect

Add data files or folders. Encryption is on by default — opt out for a plain build, or password-protect it — and embed a public key if you plan to ship signed patches.

3
Ship one EXE

Out comes a single executable that runs your app from memory on a clean machine — no install, no scattered DLLs, no extraction.
